Dr. Willie Bouwer

Dr. Willie Bouwer is the Head of School for Media and Design at STADIO Higher Education since January 2021. Simultaneously, Dr. Bouwer serves as a Programme Accreditation Evaluator for the Council on Higher Education, tasked with assessing program accreditation applications. Additionally, Dr. Bouwer is a member of the Editorial Board for The Computer Games Journal with Springer Science+Business Media B.V. Previous roles include Head of Department and 3D Animation Lecturer at Prestige Academy, as well as a lecturer at Tshwane University of Technology, specializing in various motion picture techniques. Dr. Bouwer's educational background includes a Master of Philosophy in Higher Education from Stellenbosch University and a Doctor of Technology in Motion Picture Production from Tshwane University of Technology, among other qualifications in film and animation.
