Peng Du

Asia Regional Dorector at Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat - CTBUH

Peng Du's work experience includes being an Assistant Professor and Director of the Master of Urban Design Program at Thomas Jefferson University starting in August 2021. Prior to that, Peng held various roles at the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, including China Office Director, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Strategic Partnerships, Research Associate, and Research Assistant. Peng also served as an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University College of Architecture from August 2020 to July 2021. Earlier in their career, Peng was a Visiting Assistant Professor and Adjunct Professor at Illinois Institute of Technology, and also worked as a Ph.D Candidate and Teaching Assistant there.

Peng Du completed a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Shandong Jianzhu University between 2003 and 2008. Peng then pursued a Master of Architecture (M.ARCH) degree at Tongji University from 2008 to 2011. Continuing their education, Peng further obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology, completing their studies between 2011 and 2015.
