Rodrigo M. has a wealth of work experience in the field of technology and computer security. Rodrigo began their career in 2014 as a Big Data Researcher for CiTIUS (Centro Singular de Investigación en Tecnoloxías Intelixentes) on a Telefónica Talentum Scholarship. Rodrigo then moved to a Big Data System Administrator Internship at CESGA in 2016. In the same year, they returned to CiTIUS as a Big Data and AI Researcher on a Department Scholarship. In 2018, Rodrigo M. founded, organized, and spoke at Blockchain.gal, and was also a Bitcoin/Backend Lead Engineer at Councilbox. In 2019, they became a Computer Security Teaching Assistant at Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as an Information Retrieval Researcher (Doctoral Stay) at the University of Strathclyde.

Rodrigo M. began their educational journey in 2012 when they obtained their B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. In 2016, they earned their M.Sc. in Big Data & Data Science from the same university. From 2018 to 2021, Rodrigo M. was pursuing their Ph.D. in Big Data & Information Retrieval from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, although they have yet to finish the degree. In 2020, they completed a Ph.D. research stay in Information Retrieval at the University of Strathclyde.
