Matthew Scott Davis

Matthew Scott Davis is a seasoned coffee professional with extensive experience in education, technical services, and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Regional Coffee Educator at Counter Culture Coffee since December 2018, Matthew is an Authorized Specialty Coffee Association Trainer and has been instrumental in developing and conducting coffee workshops, tastings, and training sessions. Previously, as Director of Quality & Education at Backlot Coffee Roaster, Matthew co-founded the roasting program and established quality assurance standards. Additional roles include Director of Coffee & Tea at Standard Market, General Manager at multiple coffeehouse locations, and freelance graphic designer for Partners In Health. Matthew holds a degree in Graphic Design, Illustration & Print Production from The North Coast College.
