Kathryn Lane is an experienced professional with a strong background in international development, conflict resolution, and governance. As Chief of Party at Counterpart International since August 2020, Kathryn has excelled in leading proposal writing for initiatives such as the McGovern-Dole program in Mauritania. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Consultant for Catholic Relief Services, where Kathryn led peacebuilding project proposals, and as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the International School of Ouagadougou, where leadership was provided during crises. A history of consultancy work spans various organizations and regions, focusing on governance, financial management, and program evaluation. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Arts from St. Johns College and a Master’s in Social Work from Washington University, complemented by continuing education at the USDA Graduate School.
