Gideon Dean

Gideon Dean is a dedicated music industry student at SUNY Oneonta, expected to graduate in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Currently, Gideon serves as an intern at Country Aircheck and is a member of the CMA EDU class of '24, where attendance at the CMA Leadership Summit and participation in CMA Fest '23 as media staff are notable contributions. Additionally, Gideon holds the position of Communications Director and previously served as Programming Director at WONY-FM, where responsibilities included promoting the station and developing a new automation catalog. Prior experience includes an internship at Townsquare Media focusing on on-air and digital content, as well as serving as Podcast Development Coordinator for the City of Oneonta, working directly with Mayor Mark Drnek.
