David Lundgren

David and his wife, Dawn, have been married for 28 years and have four children and three grandchildren. He started farming with his father, managing a 75-cow dairy herd and a cash corn crop operation, and now farms 800 acres of cash corn, beans, wheat, hay, and some beef cows. Over the past few years, he has been fortunate to win the Wisconsin Soybean Yield Competition for Region 1 several times. To stay up to date with the latest farm equipment, technology, and agronomic insights, he attends continuing education opportunities and WITC farm classes. David’s motivation is to help find a balance with the farm economy so that both farmers and the cooperative can be profitable.
