Melissa Schneider Kasmin

Melissa Schneider Kasmin, PhD, has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as the Assistant Chairperson of the Psychology & Education Department at County College of Morris since August 2015. In addition to this role, Melissa has held positions as an Assistant/Associate/Tenured Professor and Interim Chairperson within the same department, as well as Coordinator for the Early Childhood Education Program and Interim Dean for the School of Business, Mathematics, Engineering and Technologies. Melissa also contributes to educational consulting through a private practice established in January 2010. Melissa holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work with a concentration on the achievement gap in educational outcomes from Rutgers University, an expedited certification for educational leadership from NJ EXCEL, a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kenyon College.
