Bishara Mohammed

Bishara Mohammed has a strong background in finance and auditing. Starting in 2014, they worked as an Attachee for the County Government of Kwale. In 2018, they interned with the County Government of Kwale, where they gained experience in budget preparation and reporting.

In 2019, Bishara joined the KCB Bank Group as an Accounts Payable Helpdesk Administrator. Bishara managed accounts payable processes and maintained positive relationships with vendors. Bishara also conducted comprehensive reviews of internal control systems and provided recommendations for improvement.

Bishara then moved on to the County Government of Mombasa, where they held various roles. Bishara started as an Accountant II in July 2019, where they prepared management statements and financial reports. In September 2021, they became the Acting Internal Auditor, conducting comprehensive reviews of internal control systems and providing recommendations for improvement.

In September 2022, Bishara was promoted to Chief Accountant, overseeing financial reporting and administration. Finally, in October 2023, they were appointed as the Chief Internal Auditor, a position they currently hold.

Bishara Mohammed's education history includes completing the Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst program at Corporate Finance Institute® in 2022, specializing in Financial Analysis. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2019, they pursued the Certified Public Accountant Examination at Star Institute of Professionals. Bishara's earlier education consists of a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a specialization in Finance and Banking from Moi University, which they obtained between 2013 and 2018.
