Nyongesa James

Nyongesa James has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. NYONGESA started as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Bhachu Industries Limited in 2015, where they gained practical experience in mechanical engineering. From 2016 to 2020, they worked for the County Government of Mombasa and the Department of Occupational Safety and Health. During this time, they held roles such as Assistant Mechanical Engineer and Transport Engineer, where they were responsible for fleet maintenance, repairs, workshop management, and overseeing drivers and mechanics. In 2020, they became an Approved Plant Examiner at the Department of Occupational Safety and Health. Currently, they are working as the Chief Mechanical and Transport Engineer at the County Government of Mombasa, where they continue to utilize their skills and experience in managing the county fleet and supervising personnel.

Nyongesa James studied at the Technical University of Kenya from 2011 to 2015. NYONGESA obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in mechanical engineering. Additionally, in February 2020, they obtained the certification of Graduate Engineer from the Engineers Board of Kenya.
