Ekunyuk Ing'Olan

Ekunyuk Ing'olan is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Chairperson of the Turkana County Public Service Board since June 2025, with responsibilities including employment management, office establishment and abolition, disciplinary actions, and representation of the board. Prior experience includes Government Engagement Manager at Mercy Corps from May 2020 to July 2025, and Program Coordinator at HelpAge International, where Ekunyuk oversaw human resources, financial resources, and social protection program implementation. Ekunyuk has also held positions with HelpAge International as Acting Coordinator, enhancing the effectiveness of the Hunger Safety Net Programme, and with the Catholic Justice and Peace Commission as Coordinator, managing various programmes focused on advocacy and legal assistance. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Human Values and Human Rights from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Education in Kiswahili and Christian Religious Studies from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
