Ali Greenholt

Ali Greenholt joined Allegheny County as a CountyStat Analyst in December 2021. Originally from Allentown, PA, Ali moved to Pittsburgh in 2013 to pursue her undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh, studying nonfiction writing and gender studies.

She later returned to Pitt’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) to earn her master’s degree in international development with a focus on urban affairs and planning and graduated in spring 2021. At GSPIA, Ali discovered that she enjoyed statistical analysis and data visualization.

Paired with a long-time interest in working for the local government, she is well-suited for her current role. Prior to joining the CountyStat team, Ali worked at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health as administrative support, where she helped the Department of Health Policy and Management with student services and communications-related tasks.
