Jamie Sherry Aicp, Cza

Jamie Sherry, AICP, CZA, currently serves as the Director of Community Development for Goochland County, Virginia, since October 2019. Prior to this role, Jamie held the position of Principal Planner/Zoning Administrator for the County of Dinwiddie starting in January 2015, and has been a Planner at the City of Colonial Heights Planning and Community Development since August 2010. Previous planning experience includes roles as a Planner for the County of Henrico from September 2008 to August 2010, and as a Planner for the City of Richmond, Virginia, from September 1993 to May 2001. Jamie also has entrepreneurial experience as the Owner/General Manager of World Cup Coffee from May 2001 to April 2008. Jamie Sherry earned a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating with the latter in 1988 and the former in 1996.
