Steven Murphy OStJ, ABCP, is an accomplished emergency management professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Since April 2010, Steven has served as the Manager of Preparedness, 911 and Corporate Projects for the County of Dufferin, overseeing emergency management and 911 services for multiple municipalities. Prior to this role, Steven held positions such as Community Emergency Management and Communications Coordinator and Training Development Officer with the Ontario Government, where Steven focused on developing training programs and supporting emergency operations. Other experience includes serving as Faculty, Contributing Developer, and Author for The First Few Moments™ educational series for emergency responders, as well as roles in youth work, security management, and emergency medical services. Steven's military background includes service as a Cavalry Scout in the US Army. Steven's educational foundation includes studies at Niagara College from 1994 to 1996.
