Sara MacRae

Sara MacRae has over a decade of experience in climate and energy management, sustainability, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Manager of Climate and Energy at the County of Dufferin since June 2016, Sara has held various roles including Climate Change Coordinator and Outreach & Communications Coordinator. Previous positions include Research Consultant for the National Zero Waste Council, Coordinator for the Waterloo Region Crime Prevention Council, and Program Evaluation Specialist for REEP Green Solutions. As Executive Director of Reduce the Juice, Sara developed operational plans and oversaw program implementations. Educational qualifications include an M.A. in Community Psychology and a B.A. (Honours) in International Development from Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Guelph respectively.
