Sarah Berger has a diverse background in human services and community support, with current experience volunteering for Island County, WA since July 2023. Previously, Sarah served as the VGAL Program Coordinator at Island County Superior Court from March 2021 to November 2023, supervising volunteer guardians ad litem and coordinating training and reporting. Prior to that role, Sarah was a Housing Interventionist at Everett Housing Authority for seven years, where coordination of services for families in public housing was a key responsibility. Other notable positions include Activity Director at Careage of Whidbey, Program Director at Harbor Haven Crisis and Respite Child Care Center, and Family Advocate/Program Manager at Island County Readiness To Learn. Sarah holds a B.A. in Human Services from Western Washington University and an AA in Accounting from Everett Community College.
