Joe Potente

Joe Potente has over two decades of experience in communications and journalism. As the Communications Manager for the County of Kenosha, Wisconsin since May 2017, Joe develops and executes communication strategies, manages social media content, writes news releases, and handles media relations. Previously, Joe served as Editor at Kenosha News for 12 years, overseeing editorial staff and managing newsroom operations. Prior roles included Assignment Editor and Reporter at Kenosha News, a Reporter at The Capital Times, and roles at The Daily Cardinal, where Joe culminated a tenure as Editor in Chief. Joe holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, with a minor in history, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
