Carolynn Birilli has been a dedicated curator for the County of Lake since October 2015, where responsibilities have included researching, designing, and developing diverse exhibits, digitizing and cataloging collections, and implementing site-wide policies on disaster preparedness and accessibility. With a proven track record in securing over $150,000 in grant funding and creating educational programming, Carolynn also served as a Public Outreach Assistant, focusing on emerging art and accessibility standards. As a freelance professional from September 2011 to December 2023, Carolynn conceptualized and executed original website designs, leveraging site analytics to enhance effectiveness. Currently pursuing a degree in Cultural Heritage Management at Johns Hopkins University and holding a Bachelor’s degree in American History with a minor in Graphic Design from Southern New Hampshire University, Carolynn brings a strong academic background to the field.
