County of Lake
Carolynn Birilli has been a dedicated curator for the County of Lake since October 2015, where responsibilities have included researching, designing, and developing diverse exhibits, digitizing and cataloging collections, and implementing site-wide policies on disaster preparedness and accessibility. With a proven track record in securing over $150,000 in grant funding and creating educational programming, Carolynn also served as a Public Outreach Assistant, focusing on emerging art and accessibility standards. As a freelance professional from September 2011 to December 2023, Carolynn conceptualized and executed original website designs, leveraging site analytics to enhance effectiveness. Currently pursuing a degree in Cultural Heritage Management at Johns Hopkins University and holding a Bachelor’s degree in American History with a minor in Graphic Design from Southern New Hampshire University, Carolynn brings a strong academic background to the field.
County of Lake
The County of Lake provides a variety of services to Lake County residents and visitors, including public protection, health and sanitation, public assistance, libraries, agricultural assistance, parks, recreational and cultural activities, elections, planning, behavioral health services, and infrastructure. Many of the the County's services are provided Countywide, while others are provided only to the residents of the unincorporated areas. The government of Lake County welcomes the opportunity to serve this energetic, expanding community.
