Leah Cohen

Leah Cohen is an accomplished communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications for Animal Care and Control with the County of Los Angeles since February 2023. Prior to this role, Leah Cohen was an Associate Deputy focusing on policy and digital communications for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors from August 2015 to March 2023, where responsibilities included managing social media for Third District Supervisor Sheila Kuehl. Leah Cohen began their career in communications as a Communications Assistant and Field Deputy. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Raritan Valley Community College and further studies at Rutgers University.
