Thomas Egeland, Jr. is a seasoned real estate professional and community development leader, currently serving as a Virginia Real Estate Agent and North Carolina Real Estate Broker at Exit Elite Realty and Exit, respectively, since 2009 and 2015. Additionally, Thomas holds the position of Deputy Director of Community Development for the County of Louisa, overseeing a Planning and Zoning Team and chairing the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission's Rural Transportation Advisory Committee from 2019 to 2025. Prior roles include Senior Planner, Planning Associate, and Staff Land Use Planner at Burns & McDonnell, as well as planning internships with the City of Petersburg and Michael Baker Corporation. Thomas received a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Commerce from Hampden-Sydney College, along with a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University.
