Brent Ainsworth

Brent Ainsworth is an experienced public information specialist with a focus on media relations and communications, currently serving the County of Marin since February 2013. In addition to this role, Brent is a board member and club secretary for the Marin Bocce Federation since January 2021 and previously contributed as a board member for Novato Community Television from 2014 to 2021. A career in journalism includes positions such as local editor for Patch.com, news reporter, and various editing roles at the Marin Independent Journal, covering community and sports topics extensively. Brent began a career in journalism at the San Jose Mercury News and has a B.A. in Journalism from San Jose State University.
