Michael Acasio

Michael Acasio is a Civil Engineering Assistant at the County of Orange, OC Waste & Recycling since July 2021. Previously, Michael held roles as a Design Engineer at Largo Concrete, Inc. and at the UCI Student Center Event Services, and as a Project Engineer at PERI. In these positions, responsibilities included reading architectural drawings, performing static calculations for formwork design, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing project logistics. Notably, Michael has demonstrated leadership by training junior engineers and student staff, as well as taking initiative in event planning and operational procedures. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from UC Irvine, completed in 2016.
