Pia Rose

Pia Rose is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of Central Human Resources for the County of Orange since March 2017. In this role, Pia manages recruitment, volunteer and intern programs, classification and compensation, shared services, and employee records, focusing on attracting and retaining a highly-qualified workforce while ensuring compliance with labor contracts and policies. Prior to this position, Pia worked for the City of Riverside in various capacities, including Interim Director and Deputy Director of Human Resources, where responsibilities included recruitment, employee relations, and serving as chief negotiator for labor contracts. Pia's extensive experience in human resources began at the County of Riverside, where various roles were held from 1990 to 2010, encompassing employee benefits, recruitment, and employee relations. Pia holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Master of Business Administration from California Baptist University.
