Sophia Valdez

Sophia Valdez is an accomplished administrative professional with extensive experience in program management and leadership roles. Currently serving as an Administrative Manager I at the County of Orange since April 2016, Sophia provides ethical leadership and oversees a diverse range of programs and services. Prior to this, Sophia worked at Mazda North American Operations in various positions, including Customer Experience and Planning Specialist and Sales Training Analyst, where responsibilities included enhancing customer service operations and managing training content. Sophia's early career included grant administration at the YMCA of Orange County, focusing on budget management and financial reporting. Sophia holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University, as well as a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services.
