Anjelica Velasco

Anjelica Velasco, MPH, has extensive experience in public health and emergency medical services, currently serving as CAO Staff Officer for the County of San Diego since August 2016. In this role, responsibilities include processing prehospital personnel certification applications and handling investigation cases within the Health & Human Services Agency, Medical Care Services Division, specifically in the Credentialing Unit. Prior to this position, Anjelica gained valuable experience as a Community Health Promotion Intern and worked in various roles within the food service industry. Anjelica's educational background includes a Master of Public Health in Community Health Promotion from the University of Southern California and a Health Science degree from San Diego State University, complemented by a High School Diploma from Santa Clara High School.
