Joseph Chan

Joseph Chan, MSIT, currently serves as IT Principal for the County of San Diego since January 2025. Previously, Joseph held various roles at the Port of San Diego, including Systems Support Supervisor and Lead Support Services from December 2012 to January 2025. Earlier experience includes positions as Information Systems Specialist II at the City of La Mesa, IT Analyst at Convera Corporation, Global IT Analyst/System Network Administrator at Avexus, Inc., and Enterprise Analyst II at Milvets Systems Technology, Inc. Joseph began their career as a Sr. PC Technician at Coleman Cares Community Service. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Business Administration/Management from Coleman College, a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Applications and Networks from the same institution, and additional studies at San Diego State University.
