Kate Mahoney

Kate Mahoney, MPH, currently serves as a Community Health Program Specialist and Healthy Retail & School Specialist for the County of San Diego since August 2019. Additionally, Kate has been a Project Coordinator at the UC San Diego Center for Community Health since February 2016 and has managed the Blosser Urban Garden, a sustainable organic farm, since June 2009. Previous experience includes a Development Intern role at Direct Relief in 2013 and a Sustainable Agriculture Intern position at Earth University College in 2012. Kate holds a Master of Public Health from San Diego State University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Tulane University (2011-2015).
