Theresa Alvarez-Jarrin

Theresa Alvarez-Jarrin is a seasoned professional in housing and community development with extensive experience in program analysis and management. Currently serving as a Housing Program Analyst for the County of San Diego since November 2019, Theresa is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of low-income housing and community development programs. Previously held the positions of Associate Director of Programs and Operations Manager for Resident Services at Community HousingWorks, as well as Associate Program Director and Program Manager at Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center, where Theresa oversaw various youth and family engagement initiatives. Theresa's early career included work as a Family Neighborhood Organizer at Mission Neighborhood Centers, focusing on family engagement and community empowerment. Theresa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Adolescent Development from San Francisco State University.
