Christa Bigue

Christa Bigue has extensive experience in communications and journalism, currently serving as a Communications Specialist for the County of San Mateo since June 2014. In this role, Christa develops strategies and campaigns aimed at enhancing social media engagement across County departments. Additionally, Christa works as a correspondent for the Pacifica Tribune, covering news and features in Pacifica and San Mateo County. Previous roles include Local Editor for AOL/Patch Media Corp., Features Editor at Marin Independent Journal, and Meetings Focus Editor at Stamats Communications Inc., among others. Christa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism from Emerson College and a Master of Arts in Cultural Resources Management from Sonoma State University.
