Jen Maravillas

Jen Maravillas has extensive experience in law enforcement and community service, currently serving as Police Captain at the San Mateo Police Department since December 2005, where responsibilities have included positions as Police Lieutenant, Police Sergeant, and Detective. Additionally, Maravillas held the role of Executive Director for the San Mateo Police Activities League from January 2016 to December 2018, focusing on nonprofit initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as a Deputy Sheriff with the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff, and working as a personal trainer and elementary school teacher in the early 2000s. Maravillas is currently pursuing further education at the Naval Postgraduate School and holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of San Diego.
