Eva Avila

Eva Avila serves as a Health Educator and Project Coordinator for the Tobacco Prevention Program at Santa Barbara County Public Health Department since April 2016. In this role, Eva has demonstrated expertise in managing medical care for northern county HIV patients, advocating for patient needs, and connecting clients to essential resources. Prior to this position, Eva was a Child & Family Specialist at Casa Pacifica, where responsibilities included collaborating with various agencies, providing psychoeducation, mentoring children, and ensuring access to support services. Eva holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Jose State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Public Administration at Southern New Hampshire University.
