Natalie Kirkish

Natalie Kirkish currently serves as the Assistant County Counsel for the County of Santa Cruz, a position held since July 2024. Prior experience includes working as an Associate at Hanson Bridgett LLP from June 2022 to June 2024 and a Senior Associate at Downey Brand LLP from October 2018 to June 2022. Natalie began their legal career as an Associate at Wittwer Parkin LLP from March 2015 to September 2018. Significant contributions to environmental law were made during a role at the International Human Rights Clinic, where Natalie co-authored an amicus curiae brief aimed at supporting environmental cleanup efforts in Vieques, Puerto Rico. Legal training was further developed through various clerkships, including work at the Palo Alto City Attorney's Office, California Coastal Commission, and Alameda County District Attorney's Environmental Protection Division. Educationally, Natalie holds a J.D. from Santa Clara University and a B.A. from the University of California, Davis, focused on International Relations and environmental issues.
