Andrea Walasek

Andrea Walasek is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in public relations, project coordination, and strategic communications. Currently serving as a Public Relations Consultant at the County of Simcoe since April 2021, Andrea has played a significant role in a communications team that focuses on events, media relations, and digital content. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Coordinator in the Social Housing Department at the County of Simcoe, Manager of Communications for the Upper Canada District School Board, and an Account Strategist at Hughes Communications Inc. Additionally, Andrea worked as a Communications Assistant for a Member of Parliament, where responsibilities included managing media relations and event planning. Earlier in career, Andrea worked as a Leasing Agent managing marketing strategies for residential properties. Andrea holds a Professional Diploma in Graphic Design from Shaw Academy.
