Jocelyn Brossia currently serves as a Client Benefit Specialist for the County of Ventura since November 2024. Previous roles include positions in hospitality and education, such as a Bartender at Good Lion Hospitality and an Oyster Bartender at Lure Fish House in 2024, as well as an Educator for Ventura Unified School District. Jocelyn’s extensive experience also includes a significant tenure at the University of California San Diego, where responsibilities spanned from Lead Scheduler and Facility Supervisor to roles in student media, including Editor-in-Chief of the UCSD Guardian Newspaper. This leadership role involved managing a team of 140 staff and overseeing publication operations. Additional experience includes work as a Student Health Advocate and various instructional assistant positions. Jocelyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health and Sociology from UC San Diego, complemented by an Environmental Studies minor.
