Crcm P. Scott Milam

P. Scott Milam has over 20 years of experience in compliance and risk management. P. Scott currently serves as the Vice President and Compliance Officer at Countybank. Previously, they worked at Truist as the SVP Compliance Manager, where they managed a team and led the FCRA Compliance Program. Before that, they held various roles at BB&T, including SVP Senior Compliance Risk Manager. P. Scott also worked at BBVA Compass as a VP Compliance Officer and at The Exchange Bank of Alabama as a Credit and Compliance Analyst.

P. Scott Milam, CRCM has a diverse education history. P. Scott obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the Birmingham School of Law in 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Emergency Management at Jacksonville State University from 2002 to 2005. P. Scott Milam also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of West Alabama, where they graduated in 1998. Additionally, they have attended various professional training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge in compliance and risk management. These include the American Bankers Association Graduate School of Compliance Risk Management in 2016, the American Bankers Association National Compliance School in 2012, and the BB&T Banking School at Wake Forest in 2017-2018.
