Daniel Brantley

Daniel Brantley is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial governance and controllership. Currently serving as the Head of Coupang Global Services: Accounting and Head of Global SOX Controls, Accounting Systems and Governance at Coupang since January 2021, Daniel successfully led the SOX program that resulted in a clean 404 opinion for the 2022 financials. Prior to Coupang, Daniel held significant roles at Brookshire Grocery Company as SVP, Chief Accounting & Tax Officer, and spent over a decade at Walmart in various senior leadership positions, including Senior Director II in Global Controllership Strategy and Transformation, and Controller & Head of Tax, Treasury, and Shared Services for Walmart Japan. Earlier career experiences include managerial roles at Ingersoll Rand, audit positions at EY, and BKD CPAs & Advisors, following a solid educational foundation in Accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Tyler Junior College.
