Vijay Bharadwaj

Vijay Bharadwaj is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in security and engineering management across prominent organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director at Coupang since November 2023, Vijay previously held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Confluent, where leadership was provided for a global team focused on product security features, stream governance services, and front-end engineering. Prior roles include Engineering Manager at Google, overseeing Cloud Identity and Access Management, and Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft, where significant contributions were made to user authentication technologies and passwordless solutions. Earlier experience includes positions at Flarion Technologies and the University of Maryland. Vijay holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
