Derek N.H. Notman, CFP®, has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Derek is the Founder and CEO of Couplr AI, a company using AI and data science to connect people with personalized financial advisors. Derek is also the Founder of REBL Dads, a global mastermind group that supports dads in balancing entrepreneurship and fatherhood. In addition, they serve as the Podcast Host of Rethink. Financial Advice, where they discuss modern strategies for financial advisors. Derek is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and has worked as a Virtual CFP® at Intrepid Wealth Partners, LLC, specializing in working with self-made millionaires in leadership roles. Derek has also contributed as a writer for Entrepreneur Media and is a founding member of Kiplinger Advisor Collective. Derek has previously worked at New York Life Insurance Company as an Agent and at Eagle Strategies LLC as a CFP® and Financial Adviser. Additionally, they created Conneqtor, a practice management course for financial advisors. Through their various roles and ventures, Derek has demonstrated a commitment to helping others improve their financial well-being and achieve success.

Derek N.H. Notman, CFP®, obtained a BA degree in Anthropology and Archaeology from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2002. In 2010, they earned certifications in Financial Services, including ChFC, CLU, and LUTCF, from The American College of Financial Services. Derek also obtained additional certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) from the CFP Board in 2015 and various industry securities exams from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 2006. Furthermore, they obtained a Divemaster certification from PADI in 2001.
