Vasilis Kampouris

Vasilis Kampouris has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Vasilis started their career in 2004 as a Telecommunications Technician and Signaler Sergeant in the army. After leaving the army in 2008, they worked as a Media IT Consultant for SKAI TV, where they supported reportages on IT topics.

In 2010, Vasilis joined Apple Inc. as an iOS Developer, and then moved on to work as a Software Engineer, Designer, and Product Owner at AgroSenti in 2011. Vasilis was responsible for developing and designing software solutions to help mitigate the negative impact of weather conditions on agriculture.

From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Developer at PeopleCert Group of Companies, a Personnel Certification Body, where they researched and developed systems using C#.

In 2012, Vasilis joined BinaryTree as a .NET Developer and Mobile Developer, where they focused on integrating business practices with technology. Vasilis then moved on to Showlutions in 2013, where they worked as a Software Engineer, using a mix of existing and new technologies to create intelligent apps.

Also in 2013, Vasilis joined Athens Digital Arts Festival as an ICT Executive and Multimedia Specialist. Vasilis combined design and technical knowledge to create multimedia projects that entertain, educate, or inform users.

Most recently, Vasilis has been working at Couponology since 2013. Vasilis started as a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer and DevOps Engineer, and currently holds the role of Chief Technology Officer.

Throughout their career, Vasilis has gained experience in software development, design, multimedia, and leadership roles.

Vasilis Kampouris completed their education in the following order:

1. Diploma in Telecommunications - Vasilis attended the Telecommunications Technicians Training School (Army Academy) - CIS Corps in 2004.

2. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science - From 2007 to 2010, Vasilis attended Teesside University, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

3. Analysis of Algorithms - In 2016 to 2017, Vasilis pursued further educational development at Stanford University, focusing on the analysis of algorithms. The degree obtained during this period is not specified.
