Francisco Amaral

Francisco Amaral has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Francisco started their career at Mobiltec as a Software Design Engineer, where they led software projects and handled technical coordination. Francisco then worked as a Software Design Engineer at Stefanini IT Solutions, where they served as an external consultant for DELL Computers SA Global Development Center and contributed to product support applications.

After that, Amaral joined Hewlett-Packard as a Software Design Engineer in the Imaging and Printing division. Francisco was involved in an international project for HP software implementation, utilizing Microsoft .NET Framework and C# language.

Subsequently, Amaral worked at Ellucian as a Solution Consultant, responsible for designing and building customer-specific solution architecture. Francisco provided consulting advice during pre-sales discussions and supported opportunities in Latin America and Europe. Francisco later became a Senior Functional Consultant at Ellucian, leading business process standardization projects for large higher education groups.

Amaral then joined Desire2Learn as a Senior Technical Solutions Engineer, assisting clients by understanding their needs and proposing solutions using D2L products and services. Francisco supported business development in various countries in the LATAM region.

Later, Amaral became a Solutions Engineer at Blackboard, where they worked as part of the Solutions Consulting team and contributed to the sales cycle by optimizing organization, processes, tools, and technologies.

Currently, Amaral is employed at Coursedog as a Data Engineer. Francisco previously held the role of Manager, Technical Implementations Consultants, where they led a team in implementing technical solutions.

Throughout their career, Amaral has demonstrated expertise in various technologies and has consistently taken on roles with increasing responsibility and leadership.

Francisco Amaral obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2000 to 2005. In 2015, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Gestão Comercial from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Additionally, they have obtained two additional certifications: "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn in December 2020, and "Technical Sales: The Role of the Sales Engineer" from LinkedIn in September 2020.
