Amy Bawden is a seasoned finance professional and advocate with extensive experience in nonprofit organizations. As Chief Financial Officer and Career Architect at Doing Good Works since November 2014, Amy focuses on improving outcomes for foster youth. Concurrently, as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate with CASA of Orange County since January 2010, Amy provides support and mentorship to abused and neglected children. In a leadership role as Board Chair of Youth Mentoring since July 2015, Amy works to empower at-risk youth through mentorship. Previous advisory experience includes serving on the Advisory Board of The Teen Project from August 2010 to August 2015, which supports teens aging out of foster care, and fulfilling the role of Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Women Chefs & Restaurateurs from 2005 to 2008. Amy's earlier career at The Walt Disney Company spanned over a decade, holding various financial leadership positions and managing substantial production services and costs. Educationally, Amy holds a Master’s Degree in Social Entrepreneurship & Change from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from San Diego State University.
