Court Appointed Special Advocates of Orange County (CASA OC)
Melanie McCorkle currently serves as a Legal Extern at the Office of County Counsel in Orange County and is an active member of the Young Lawyers Division Community Outreach Committee with the Orange County Bar Association. Additional contributions include involvement with the Irvine Child Care Committee and serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate with CASA OC. Melanie has previously held positions as a Law Clerk at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and volunteered with Inland Counties Legal Services and the Elder Law and Disability Rights Center. Prior experience includes working as a Legal Clerk at HOGIE & CAMPBELL LAWYERS, INC., providing childcare for a private family, and volunteering for the Tammy Kim for City Council campaign. Currently pursuing a law degree at the University of California, Irvine School of Law, Melanie is also a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
