Shane McGoey

Shane McGoey is an accomplished insurance broker currently working at Carolina Health and Life since July 2023 and has been an insurance agent at Kemper since February 2021. In addition to the insurance industry, Shane has a strong background in the wine sector as a certified sommelier and freelance journalist for THE SOMM JOURNAL, LLC since July 2019. Shane has experience in sales and marketing, having served as a sales representative at Wine-O-Rama and wholesale sales specialist at DeLille Cellars. Notably, Shane directed and produced a marketing video for Walla Walla Community College's Enology & Viticulture program. Shane's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Theatre and Communication Arts from the University of New Orleans and an Associate degree in Viticulture and Enology from Walla Walla Community College. Shane has been recognized with the Walter Clore scholarship for outstanding achievement in sommelier training.
