Jennifer Gadda

Director of Production at Court Theatre

Jennifer Gadda is the current Director of Production at Court Theatre. Jennifer has over 18 years of experience in production management and has worked with some of the most prestigious theatre companies in the United States.

Jennifer began their career as a Producing Associate at American Conservatory Theater in 2001. In this role, they assisted with hiring artistic employees, formulated and executed contracts, processed weekly payroll, and paid union benefits. Jennifer gained valuable experience working with USA, SSD&C, IATSE, and AEA contracts.

In 2006, Jennifer became the Associate Production Manager/Company Manager at Court Theatre. In this role, they worked closely with the Production Manager to manage production schedules, contracting, and overhire staffing. Jennifer also managed the production department payroll, purchasing, and accounts reconciliation. Additionally, they supported production staff with individual projects, coordinated housing and transportation for out-of-town artists, and managed rental events. Jennifer gained valuable experience working with USA and AEA contracts during their time at Court Theatre.

In 2007, Jennifer began working as the Stage Manager at Blue Man Group. In this role, they assisted with hiring artistic employees, formulated and executed contracts, processed weekly payroll, and paid union benefits. Jennifer gained valuable experience working with USA, SSD&C, IATSE, and AEA contracts during their time at Blue Man Group.

Jennifer has been working in the theatre industry for over 18 years and has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in production management. Jennifer is an expert in USA, SSD&C, IATSE, and AEA contracts and has a proven track record of successfully executing contracts and managing production schedules.

Jennifer Gadda has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Drama with Honors from Stanford University and has also completed a non-degree program in Drama at the University of Oxford.

They work with Nadeige Uwamba - Interim Director of Development, William Nalley - Director of Development, and Kamilah Rashied - Director of Education. Some individuals on their team include Kelcie Beene - Associate Production Manager & Company Manager, Luke Lemanski - Technical Director, and Emily Brown - Lighting Supervisor. Their manager is Heidi Thompson Saunders, Managing Director.
