François Tortel has extensive work experience in the medical industry. François began their career at DIAGAST in 1988, where they worked as the International Sales Manager for over 12 years. In 2002, they joined Cousin Surgery as the Director of Domestic and International Sales, and later became the Director of International Sales at CERBA HEALTHCARE in 2005. François returned to Cousin Surgery in 2007, taking on the role of Director of Sales and Business Development before becoming the General Manager from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they became the CEO of Cousin Surgery, COUSIN ENDOSCOPY, and Cousin Visceral. Throughout their career, François has utilized their expertise to develop implantable medical devices and foster partnerships with international players in the medical industry.
François Tortel's education history begins in 1979 when they attended Lycée St Exupéry in St Raphael, France, where they obtained their Baccalaureate degree. After that, from 1984 to 1987, they studied at ESC Clermont Business School, earning a Master's degree in Business & Administration with a focus on International Business. In the same period in 1986, they also attended Fachhochschule Osnabrück in Germany, where they pursued European Business Studies. Additionally, in 1984 and 1986, they studied at the University of Clermont Ferrand II in France, completing a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages. In 2007, François underwent General Management Training, specializing in middle-sized companies, at the Institut Français de Gestion in France, which they completed in 2008.
