Vijay Gautam

Vijay Gautam currently serves as a Partner and Management Committee Member at Covalis Capital, overseeing non-investment functions since July 2023. Prior to this, Vijay held various leadership positions at MIO Partners, Inc, including Global Head of Equities and Event Driven Capital Allocation, and played a key role in capital allocation and manager selection across global public equities and private equity markets from March 2011 to June 2023. Additionally, Vijay has experience as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, focusing on healthcare consulting, and served as an Associate in Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Early career experience includes corporate finance consulting at McKinsey and progressive roles at Oracle. Vijay holds an MBA in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master's in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor's in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
