Dan Slanac

Dan Slanac is currently serving as the Global Technology Director at Covation Biomaterials since June 2022, where responsibilities include developing and executing strategic direction for R&D teams in the US and China, focusing on sustainable processes and materials. Previously, Dan held the position of R&D Manager at both Covation Biomaterials and DuPont, leading teams of engineers and scientists to innovate bio-based materials. Dan's extensive experience at DuPont also includes roles as Senior Engineer/Competency Leader and Senior Research Investigator, contributing to process design and central research initiatives. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
