David Bear, MD, is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Currently, David serves as Chairman at Ergot Biosciences, focusing on the novel use of psychedelic therapy. In addition, David is the Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Covectra, Inc., which specializes in serialization-based brand protection solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical device, and food industries. David also holds the positions of Chairman and Chief Medical Officer at PharmoRx Therapeutics, Inc., an early-stage drug development company, and was the Founder and Chairman of the Board at MedSentry, Inc., which developed medication adherence devices. David earned a Doctor of Medicine degree in Clinical Psychology from Harvard Medical School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University.
