Jacob Hartin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jacob started their career as a Software Developer at the Center for Advanced Public Safety, working on applications for government agencies. Jacob then worked as a Web Developer at Group Health Cooperative and Hacker Group, where they collaborated with clients and project managers to develop strategies and design websites. Jacob also gained experience as a Software Engineer at Tennessee Valley Authority, specializing in Build and Release Management. Jacob later started their own consulting business called Hartin Web Consulting, where they built apps, websites, and software for clients across the United States. Currently, Jacob is employed at Covenant, where they have held roles such as Senior Director of Application Development and Data Services, Director of Software Engineering and Data Integration, and Manager of Software Engineering.
Jacob Hartin earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from The University of Alabama in 2011. Prior to their master's program, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science at the same university in 2010. In addition to their academic achievements, Jacob holds a certification in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, obtained in 2021.
