Carlos F. Velez

Carlos F. Velez has extensive experience in patient access management across various healthcare organizations. Currently serving as Patient Access Director/Manager at Covenant Health since May 2018, Carlos oversees patient access operations following the transition to Providence/Covenant. Prior roles include Patient Access Manager at Parallon, where oversight of patient access functions at Osceola Regional Medical Center took place, and Project Director at Healthcare Financial Systems, focusing on project efficiency and revenue cycle management. Other positions held include Patient Access Manager at Lakeway Regional Medical Center, Holy Cross Hospital, and Miami Heart Institute, as well as Patient Advocate Manager at PERS, INC. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Miami Dade College.
